Louth Community Larder

If you have been without proper housing for some time, and are now able to move into somewhere, there are possible problems even if you now have a roof. The flat or house you are moving into may well be partially equipped with the usual kitchen things, but you and yours still need to eat! As a short term help while you get sorted out we have a scheme in Louth called the “Community Larder”.

This scheme can give you a small supply of non-perishable foods such as tins and packets - enough to keep you going for a couple of days. As well, there are vouchers which can be exchanged for  perishables - milk and bread and the like - at the Co-op store in Eastgate, Louth, and similar vouchers for greengroceries.
