Rehearsals and Membership
While singing in itself is good, the real reward comes to those who sing, and feel, and think, with others. This is what harmony means. (Z. Kodály)
Why not sing with us?
If our concert schedule has whetted your appetite, you would like to sing an interesting repertoire including the classic choral "greats" and you have a good ear though not necessarily a trained voice, then why not join us? We are always recruiting new singers, so if you are interested drop in to any rehearsal and see if you would like it. Probably it would be best to call the number below to check before coming, if you are a long way away.
We are also keen to involve amateur instrumentalists playing at a high standard in our various concerts. If you are interested, please call Estelle, at the number below.
We meet for choir rehearsals every Monday (and sometimes on Fridays before a concert), generally in the Roy Kemp Room of the Central Hall in Duncombe Street, Grimsby. This is off Freeman Street in the centre of the town, and easy to find (but see our page of directions if in doubt). Final rehearsals are normally in the venue itself.
If you are interested and would like more information, please phone our Secretary
